We are over the moon excited about our newest wine to the Three Sticks lineup, our 2018 Cuvee Alana Pinot Noir. Planted in 2010 and named after Bill Price's youngest daughter, the Alana Vineyard sits on a steep hillside amongst the redwoods in the cool Green Valley appellation just outside the town of Occidental. This pinot haven is close to the Pacific Ocean and feels the impact of the afternoon fog that rolls in early in the day. This slows down the development of sugars and acid, making sure the grapes mature at a slow and steady rate. This wine is intoxicating with aromas of apple blossoms, black cherry and allspice with bursts of bright acidity. The mid-palate has notes of Santa Rosa plum galette which lead to a finish of super silky tannins. We are obsessed.
This wine has sold out. The 2019 vintage will be released in Spring 2022
