Our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir comes from the cooler areas of Sebastopol and Occidental, in an area known as "West County". Afternoon fog and Pacific Ocean winds act as nature's air conditioner, rapidly cooling the warm mid-day temperatures, and creating a Pinot Noir haven. The climate shift gives grapes time to shut down and retain their acids. This is a hallmark of this wine region and lends to a more balanced and bright version of Pinot Noir. With a core of red cherry, it's characterized by light cedar box and cranberry. The palate is velvety with a finish that continues long after the final sip. Enjoy this cool-climate Russian River Valley Pinot Noir!
