In the rolling hills of southwest Sonoma, Durell Pinot Noir thrives in early afternoon breezes that funnel in from the San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean. The confluence of wind and fog allows the grapes to develop slowly, resulting in complex and intense characteristics. On the nose you’ll find forest floor, blackberry tea, and hints of toasted marshmallow, while the palate offers tart cherry and a blend of cinnamon and cacao. 2017 marks 20 years since we purchased Durell, the birthplace of Price Family Vineyards and Estates. We honor this occasion with a special bottling that pays homage to our original black label artwork. Cheers to the history and legacy of this iconic Sonoma vineyard.
