Composed of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier, these grapes are co-fermented and aged in a mix of concrete amphora, stainless steel drums and a single French oak barrel. Pleasing and fun, this wine hits floral aromatic high notes with ideal viscosity and bright acidity.

The Casteñada Red Blend is composed of a field blend of three Rhône varieties (Grenache Blanc, Viognier, and Marsanne) and two red Rhône varieties (Syrah and Grenache Noir). The grapes are harvested and fermented together - a unique approach, and one that makes this wine one of our most interesting to produce.

Known for producing powerful and dense wines, this high elevation region is located on the western-facing slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. As we commit to our estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this is the last vintage from our Cabernet series.
